The aim of the journal is to adhere to the thematic focus that corresponds to the relevant fields of research of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Problems of the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (Computer Science and Cybernetics, Computer Technology and Automation, Artificial Intelligence Systems and Means).

To publish the research results of theses and to promote young scientists and researchers in Ukraine, as well as to issue the results of scientific research of distinguished Ukrainian and foreign scientists.

Objectiveness and impartiality

The journal strives to objectively assess the content of the papers it publishes, as well as to stay unprejudiced with the authors who submit articles to the journal.

High demands on the quality of research papers

The editorial board places high demands on the quality of scientific research described by authors.

Peer Review Policy

Along with submitting the manuscripts for the peer review to higher education institutions, as well as to research institutes, the journal's editorial team performs independent (single-blind/double-blind) peer review.

Strict observance of copyright and related rights

Each article should be examined to ensure the compliance with copyright law.

Strict adherence to the schedule

The editorial board strictly adheres to the frequency of publication (two times a year).

Condemnation of plagiarism

In the event of plagiarism detection in the submission, the paper should be rejected and returned to the author. The plagiarism should be condemned.

The scientific journal "Artificial Intelligence" welcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance in the relevant subject area: original articles on basic and applied research; thematic analysis.

The editorial board endorses the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), an international effort to make scholarly materials in all academic fields freely available on the Internet, which contributes to the accelerated development of science. That means the user or the institution has free access to all research materials and literature. Anyone may read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or refer to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other legitimate purpose without seeking prior permission from the publisher or author.

The editorial board strives to include the journal in international digital libraries, catalogs, and scientometric databases in order to enter the global scientific information space and to increase both the journal ranking and citation count of the authors.

The editorial board pursues an active involvement policy concerning the participation of influential foreign scientists from the AI field in the peer review process.

Along with submitting the manuscripts for the peer review to higher education institutions, as well as to research institutes, the journal's editorial team performs independent (single-blind/double-blind) peer review.

Each article should be examined to ensure the compliance with copyright law and to avoid plagiarism. In the event of plagiarism detection in the submission, the paper should be rejected and returned to the author. The plagiarism should be condemned.

If the author does not possess an academic rank, a scanned review (recommendation) from the research supervisor, as well as a letter of request, certified by signature and stamp, should be sent by e-mail separately from the article file.

The article should be formatted in accordance with the requirements. Submission of the materials is allowed throughout the year with a waiting period of up to six months. Articles are collected monthly. Manuscripts are accepted in two languages: Ukrainian, English.

Submission of the article for the purpose of its publication implies that the author (authors) has/have agreed to the terms of the License Agreement.

The editorial board reserves the right to edit the manuscript.

Articles are published free of charge (after review and acceptance for publication).

A single file should contain the article, annotations, and information about the authors.

The author receives 1 (one) copy of the collection. Additional copies of the collection can be purchased from the Publisher by prior order (specify at the end of the article or send the order by e-mail).

Communication with the editorial board during the work with the manuscript is carried out via the same e-mail.
