Abstract: A new system of "elementary" functions which are called trigohyperbolic functions and denoted with symbols six, inx, cox, osx is proposed in the paper. This system is alternative to usual trigonometric and hyperbolic functions sin x, cos x, shx, chx. New functions are introduced on basis of division Maclaurin’s series for the functions sin x, cos x into positive and negative parts. In the paper algebraic and analytical properties of the new functions are investigated.
