Abstract: Building and investigation of compartment models of population dynamics require constructive conditions for existence and positivity of solutions. While in linear cases and in cases raised to them effective criteria are found, then there are some difficulties in nonlinear systems. The article deals with the generalized model of Gompertz’s dynamics, which is different from “scalar” caseand doesn’t have explicit solution. By using principle of contracting mappings for this model the constructive conditions for existence and positivity of solutions have been found.
