Abstract: The paper studied the methods for automatic analysis of natural language texts. Four main approaches are discussed in detail, i.e. morphological, statistical, syntactic, semantic. The possibility of their use in solving practical problems and specificity of application are discussed. As the examples the list of application systems, which use these methods, are given.
