Abstract: This paper represents developed methods and tools for structure adaptation of software image filtering algorithms. The problem of allocation and thinning lines on locomotive speedometer tape is being solved. With an application of genetic algorithms sequence of basic filters and their parameters is being picked, which is adapted to given lines templates and corresponds to the proposed criterion.
