Abstract: The paper considers the problem of computing a numerical criterion for assessing the perception in terms of principles postulated by Gestalt theory. Propose a method of evaluation, which yields the value of a numerical criterion by which to judge the extent to which mode of presentation of visual information in the textbook of the principles of Gestalt theory.
