Abstract: In this paper we describe the approaches for building of the spoken translation system within subject areas. The decoded sequence of words enters to the interpretation subsystem, which finally makes decision concerning to the sentence type and the respective meaning type for the pronounced utterance. Possible variations of date, time, place etc. that may occur in sentences are parameterized and integrated to the language model. Strict, free and phonetic words based on word grammars for speech decoder are analyzed.
