Abstract: This article describes one of the most perspective directions of information technology development for human-machine interface based on human natural means of interaction between human and computer. A review of all main stages, procedures and data capture technologies which are used during operation of gesture recognition is represented. The detail analysis of gesture recognition system operation is provided. All main problems of gesture recognition system development and their optimal solutions are defined.
