Abstract: It was concerned requirements for systems of both perception and image processing in real time. The article demonstrates that traditional fundamentals and principles of real time videosystem design don’t take into consideration peculiarities of operation in real time and characteristic properties of tasks in technical as well as in information and methodological aspects. As a prototype of a real time vision system it was suggested to use a human vision analyzer. The most important for providing real time requirements physical peculiarities of the vision analyzer in particular high selectivity and high level of paralleling in neural networks during an image processing were concerned in the article.

Keywords: perception and image processing, real time, human vision analyzer, intelligent perception, paralleling
