Abstract: Is shown in the article the urgency of development and introduction of systems of localization of production markings on digital images. The analysis, description and comparison of this class of systems. Identified the main characteristics of the systems under consideration and analysed the existing software systems. Given the results of estimates of the characteristics of the systems on the example of localization systems of state license plates. It is proposed algorithm for localization of production markings with the use of analysis of the color data on digital images.
