Abstract: The article examines the role of large language models in the fields of education, science, and research. The advantages of using artificial intelligence for personalized learning, automated assessment, and support for educators and researchers are analyzed. Special attention is given to the capabilities of analyzing large datasets, classifying scientific information, and generating educational materials. The main challenges and limitations of using language models in academic activities are identified. The study highlights the potential of AI-driven technologies to enhance the efficiency and accessibility of education and research. Additionally, the ethical implications and risks of relying on AI for knowledge generation are discussed. The article explores the impact of large language models on scientific discovery, emphasizing their role in facilitating literature reviews, hypothesis generation, and academic writing. Despite the significant benefits, concerns regarding biases in AI models, data privacy, and the need for human oversight remain critical. The findings suggest that a balanced approach integrating AI tools with human expertise can maximize the effectiveness of language models in educational and scientific settings.

Keywords: large language models, artificial intelligence, education, science, research, automation, personalization.
