Abstract: In this article the mathematical models of greenhouse gas emission processes from the iron and steel industry in Poland have been presented. In the result of numerical experiments the estimates of greenhouse gas emissions on the level of metal production plants have been obtained, spatial cadastres of emission have been illustrated as digital maps. The software tools for the assessment of the uncertainties of greenhouse gas emissions have been developed and their analysis has been carried out.

Keywords: modeling, spatial analysis, greenhouse gas emission, uncertainty, iron and steel industry
