Abstract: The problem of the verification of optically variable objects by detecting their color changing and checking additional characteristics such as size, contrast, brightness has been considered. To detect an object, the correlation analysis has been carried out. HSL model is used to work with the color. The evaluation criterion of colors differences iss developed. The verification of optically variable objects is needed to establish the authenticity of ID documents.
