Abstract: In this paper, we propose the new block collocation methods for solving stiff systems of ordinary differential equations with automatic step size, which initially are focused on the parallel architecture. The basic idea, which underlies the development of the proposed methods, is to obtain simultaneously the approximation of the exact solution in all the estimated points of the block.
