Abstract: Described in the article is the problem of development an Ukrainian sign language facial expression notation system utilized for modeling facial expressions in computer sign language educational systems. Various aspects of existing notation systems, such as their level of detail, their disadvantages, the area of application are analyzed in the article. The main requrements for Ukrainian sign language facial expression notation system are given.
