Abstract: Multiplication is considered as an example of the opportunity to carry out a sequence of operations depended on the data in overlapping mode at the level of processing of machine word places. The method of multiplication of numbers in the on-line mode using shifted redundant number notation is investigated, the influence of number notation basis size calculations and length of dependent operations sequence on time is determined.
