Abstract: The algorithm of the filtration of images for the purpose of the isolation of ellipses is developed. This algorithm is used in the system of the noncontact determination of the variation in height of heads TVS, which are located in the aqueous medium in the reactor core of the power unit of 1 Volgadonsk AES.
