Abstract: The method of extraction of quasi-periodic structures in images of sound waves is put in a basis of proposed algorithm of direction finding of an acoustic signal. Proposed method does not contain a priori known constants and is invariant to rate, timbre and intensity of the accepted acoustic signal. Presented results can be applied also for resolving the problem of segmentation of a speech signal.
