Abstract: This paper presents the phoneme recognizer for keyword spotting. Hidden Markov Model is used for modeling the phonemes. The keyword is described by phoneme transcription. Proposed method was examined at large speech corpus with various speakers. It is suggested to use such approach for speech information retrieval.
