Abstract: The article is devoted to a problem of car license plate detection on images. The decision is based on use of the cascade of classifiers in the course of multiscale scanning of images for search of one-line license plates. At cascade construction classifiers of different types were used: initial classifiers are based on the analysis of position of training objects in vertexes of a multidimensional cube (MCV-classifiers), final - were formed in the form of a linear combination of values of features by means of algorithm AdaBoost. Use of the cascade of the mixed classifiers has allowed to increase computing characteristics of detection algorithm.
