Abstract: Extrapolation methods for solving Cauchy’s problem for ordinary differential equations possess a high degree of potential parallelism. This article is dedicated to the design and analysis of the efficiency of parallel algorithms for local extrapolation based on explicit based methods. The developed algorithms are implemented on parallel systems with distributed memory and the topology of the hypercube. The estimations of the runtime and exchanges, total overhead of parallelism, speedup and efficiency of parallel solutions are defined.
