Abstract: One of the approaches to detect speaker change in continuous speech signal is proposed in the paper. Suggested approach is based on using the mel-frequency cepstral coefficients to build a characteristic vector. Decision on existence or absence of speaker change at a given point is based on a proposed dissimilarity measure between the sets of characteristic vectors.
