Abstract: The results of the browse of navigation images recognition techniques and decision-making on landing of a unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) are described. The algorithm for onboard system UAV of definition of an own location in space concerning recognized navigation sign is offered. It occurs on the basis of the data received in the course of degree similarity definition of the image from the camera with the template by means of a template search algorithm.
