Abstract: The next release problem is examined as the bi-objective optimization problem. Two types of dependencies between requirements are identified and their influence on the next release problem formulation is analyzed. Heuristic methods are used for construction of the Pareto-front, their constraints are described. The structure of decision support systems for the next release problem is proposed.
