Abstract: The paper is devoted to the problem of validation of fuzzy classification models for experimental sample X. It is proposed a formal method and computational algorithm that provide to get an optimal number of fuzzy classes in X based on taking into account of stability of the alternative fuzzy classifications under acceptable modification of X.
